Once while in dorms at Malaspina one of the other tenats in the dorms had fireworks. I can't recall if there was some sort of special opccasion or if he just happened to have them. I'm thinkin Halloween but this was back in 1991-92.
Anyway, he lit one of the firecrackers, held it for a moment, and then let go. Litweraly the moent after he let go the firecracker when off. He suffered no injury but I'm pretty sure even half a second longer would have resulted in injury. So if you have firecrackers, one they're lit, TOSS THEM RIGHT AWAY!!!
